Reaction to Fire

BrickClad® brick slips are a ceramic material and therefore classified as A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1 without further testing as outlined in EU Commission Decision 96/603/EC.

Magnelis® Omega Support Rail and Magnelis® Steel Cassette Profile are steel profiles with an inorganic coating and therefore classified as A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1 without further testing as outlined in EU Commission Decision 96/603/EC.

CWCT (Centre for Window & Cladding Technology) Testing

Kingspan BrickClad® has been tested in accordance with CWCT ‘Standard for systemised building envelopes’ assessing:

• Air permeability

• Watertightness - static pressure and dynamic pressure

• Wind resistance - serviceability and safety

• Impact resistance

Kingspan BrickClad® is manufactured using a clay-based material. A detailed composition is available upon request.

Magnelis® Steel Cassette Profiles and Magnelis® Omega Support Rails are supplied with ZM310 Magnelis® coating to BS EN 10346: 2015 or in stainless steel grade 1.4301-304 for C4 environments and when used below DPC level.

SureClad® Aluminium Support System are manufactured from aluminium alloy (grade 6063/T6) to BS EN 12020-1: 2008.
