Fire Resistance of Insulated Panels
This video shows the important role that fire resistance plays in protecting people and the built environment. The performance of our QuadCore Insulated Panels with a reaction to fire classification of B-s1-d0 means that during the growth phase of a fire, the QuadCore insulated panels will not significantly contribute to the growth of the fire. If a fire reaches a point of flashover, fire resistance is required to prevent the spread to other areas of the building.
The period of fire resistance required is outlined in the relevant regulatory guidance. Once the building authority for the project has stipulated the fire resistance requirement in terms of integrity and insulation, we can help advise and the tables below outline which of our panels achieve which performance.
